OGET Computer-Based Testing
The Oklahoma General Education Test (OGET) is offered on computer in addition to the regularly scheduled paper-based test administrations. Computer-based testing (CBT) for the OGET is available during select five- or six-day testing windows at Pearson Professional Centers in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Refer to "Test Dates" for a list of the testing windows currently open for registration and to "Test Sites" for information about available test centers across the United States.
Registration. Registration for computer-based testing is available on the Internet by selecting "Register Now" on the CEOE Web site. There is an additional computer-based testing fee of $35 for testing on computer. The following guidelines apply to computer-based testing registration:
- You should plan to register as early as possible before your desired testing window. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and seating is limited.
- Once you have registered, you must wait until after you have tested to register again for computer-based testing.
- You must wait 120 days after taking the OGET on computer before retaking the OGET on computer.
Test administration. In computer-based testing, examinees complete the OGET by selecting answers on-screen to selected-response questions and typing a response to the writing assignment. See "Reporting to the Test Site," "What to Bring to the Test Site," and "Test Site Rules" for details about the day of the test, including information about identification and security policies.
Score reporting. Unofficial test results will be posted on the CEOE Web site and official score reports will be mailed on the score report date for each testing window. See "Test Dates" for score report dates and "Release of Your Test Scores" for additional information on score reporting.
